Any player who is significantly ahead of this timeline should be showing this in games......the game is about moving the ball from one space to another to evade pressure.....players who can do this well at an individual level (tevez) and can apply this ability in games will be effective players.
Tevez highlights individual touch errors. These errors will occur in games but it wont necessarily be apparent (until you are playing against good players who deny you the time and space in which you normally make your errors (but get away with).
