Section Two : Again this is a broad look at some key concepts of the game that underpin our system play.

Breaking the pitch into Zones

1. There are 3 key zones running across the pitch.

   • The ......Defencive....... third
   • The middle third
   • the.....Attacking.......third
2. There are some other zones to think about [Not covered yet at training]
1. The 6 space
2. The 10 space
3. The outside channel
4. The inside channel
5. The middle channel
6. The 'hotspot' (where most goals are scored)
7. The second 6 yard box (inside the hotspot)
