- The 'challenge' part in the Deep Practice process needs to be specific. If it is a juggling pattern it might be, 'Can you get to 10 in 2 minutes' rather than using the statement ' Can you do this?'.
- Make sure you coach in the tech games part. Make sure you bring the footwork topic to life. This part of the session resembles 'normal high level coaching' more than any other part of a TST session. Your ability to intervene at the right time (find the moment that matches the topic), and deliver a concise but clear coaching point which a player gets and implements is the beginnings of a much higher level of coaching. Its not easy but TST is a great way to practice this process. It is much harder to do in a more complicated setting (team training in a 6v6 for example).
