[So each pattern moves the ball differently from the other patterns]

A Turn

Ball Mastery

  • Drag Back turn - don't have a video for just Drag turns. this video has a complicated combo if drags. A basic drag turn is in there somewhere

Ball Moving

A 90 degree turn using a drag back V

  • Switch Foot DBV - Drag back and with the other foot immediately move the ball out of the body and step.
  • Use the toes for quick acceleration

Uses the same type of touch to move the ball in the same direction

  • CRAB - ball stays next to inside of back foot. Player moves sideways slowly taking ting little inside touches 

One touch to Change direction

  • Inside shuffle - Inside across the body and shuffle.
  • v1 - Inside Shuffle (body lean – falling leaf)

A 2 touch 'Chop and Push' to change direction

  • Inside Chop (stop) Inside push & shuffle
  • Can be used as a turn or a change of direction

2 touch to move laterally then forward

  • Outside step Inside - Outside touch out of the body followed immediately by 1 step, followed immediately by an inside touch with the same foot (that stops the ball or moves it forward or it could be a drag back and turn) , followed by a shuffle

2 touch fake

  • Inside hop Outside - Inside chop touch followed immediately by an outside touch with the same foot that gets the ball out of the body, followed by at least 1 step [This is an inside fake)
