FFP #4 : Same foot V (inside)

Description of the pattern:

The ball needs to be out of the body but within reach.

Face the ball.

Use the bottom of the foot to drag the ball into the body.

As the ball is coming into the body, hop with the other foot (better for balance)

Without putting the dragging foot to the floor, open up the foot (into a T-shape) and receive the ball and also move the ball out of the body (not across) in a V shape.....

Same Foot Vi develops A Back Foot Touch

We Initially use an Inside touch to move the ball out of the body (during the brag bavk V) as this also

  • Acts as practice for a back foot control touch (when receiving a pass).
  • Also help young players develop the strength and flexibility necessary to open the foot out.
    • This T-shape foot position development will help young players better use the inside of the foot to control and pass the ball.
