P5 : Level 4; Add Variety into FFP development and games

For intermediate players who are familiar with all the FFPs

Use a more compicated and challenging approach

Approach 1

A good footwork approach is to pick a 4 FFPs and do a ball moving circuit (big figure of 8) so players have to keep switching from one pattern to the next regularly. Good for neural development.

A possible 4 patterns: [All finish with an outside touch]
  • 1 touch outside (up one side)
  • Inside step outside (right foot down a diagonal)
  • Dush dush (up the other side)
  • Inside step outside (left foot down a diagonal)

This is a possible table of groups of FFPs : Do the same things for 2 weeks then change

Approach 2

Keep the patterns simple but work on intensity and head up while doing them

Approach 3

Choose a combination of patterns and join them together into one more complicated pattern
